2019 Worthington Kilbourne HS Holiday Gift Delivery

Worthington Kilbourne High School had another very successful year raising money for their “Holiday Compassion Program.” They raised $7,700 which enabled the students to purchase gifts for 24 families with a total of 60 deserving and, now, very happy children.

I want to thank Roe and Bill Mauro, Ann Pachacek and Steve Payerle who helped students wrap gifts from 9:30-10:00am the morning of December 12th. This was a new volunteer opportunity for our club and hopefully we will be invited to do it again next year and have even more Rotarians participating.

And I give a huge thank you to all the following Rotarians, Rotary family members, and friends - who gave up a Saturday morning to help sort, load, and deliver all the gifts:

Candy Brooks, Katie McCartney, Kip Patterson, Jim Farmer, Bob McCurdy, Ann Pechacek, Dave Hansen, Mike Moulton, Teresa Russell, Bob Hanson, George Norris, Andrew Saneholtz, Ted Inbusch, Dick Ollila, Bill Shantz, Roger Johnson, Joe Patchen, Alan Zink, Jerry Katz, Molly LaBadie – friend of Ann Pechacek, and 2nd year volunteer! Stephen Brooks – husband of Candy Brooks, Ron McCartney – son of Katie McCartney.
